I've been using this for a couple of years. It works well on my 800 Mhz laptop with an M-audio USB interface for the ins and outs. I haven't figured out the impulse response, and the transfer function does not have complete paramaters (like delay) but the spectrum analyiser works like a charm.

Years ago someone on PSW found it. Only downside is that it does not go below 47 Hz. My son had a sucessful science fair project measuring room modes using this program, a big old martin bin, and a completely empty concrete basement. We proved by measurement that big rolls of insulation stacked in the corners would knock down some of those nodes.
I have been using it more lately, and on a faster laptop it runs great. I was on w2k with a pentium 233 before and it still was acceptable.
I should have linked the whole site- they are making some very interesting amp modules and dsp.
