Probably everyone has thought about this already, but I was cutting a batch of piezos for a melded arrray yesterday, and realized I could make things less stressful by adding a small, screwed-in, temporary stop to Bill's melded-array jig.
I wanted a way to hold the piezos in place while pushing the jig through the blade and keeping my fingers out of the box.
Small plywood stick, 1/2 the length of the narrow end of a 1016--so, an inch or so long--put a piezo in place, and screw the stick in place, holding the piezo against the back or side of the jig. Cut all the tweets in the first position, then move the ply stick to the next spot. It's small enough so the cut piezo can be slid laterally into or out of place.

Re: melded array cutting jig tip
This requires visual clarification. I think I get the idea but I'm not sure.
