Last december when we had our vacation in our country,we built 4 TITAN 48 and 6 omnitop 15.I know the omnitop12 should have been better as a mid section but i have already those drivers lying around. The titans were loaded with JBL 2226H and the omnitops with E130's.The high section are 4 2446H jubals.
We are using our rig as sound reinforcement of a full band and mostly outdoor gigs. The band composing of 4 on the saxophone section,2 on the trombone section,4 trumpets, drumset with symbals,a bass and a lead guitar and the organ. We also have two congas @ 2 timbales on the percusion section.2 males and 2 females on the vocals. All instruments are mic'ed.
For so long the band was using 4 old keele's W-bin as bass bin and 6 big old jbl 4560 horns(not sure on the model) as midrange. They never complained on the sound quality of this bins until they heard the new bill's bins.
Amplifiers driving the rig are as follows.
1 JBL MPX1200 for bass
2 Yamaha P4500 on the low-mids
1 crown CE1000 & 1 XLS402 on the high-mids
1 Crown com-tech 200 for the highs.
Mixers:
1 Mackie cfx20 MK2
1 Tascam m-224
Processors:
1 dbx 31 band eq(x2)
1 rane me30 eq for the monitor
1 dbx 166xl
1 Lexicon mpx100
Ashly Xr4001 crossover.
And now for the sound.....
The titans are amazing.big, fat rounded bass.100 feet away from the stack and the kick on the your chest is unbelievable. The kick drum sound was lively. The old keele's (loaded with 2440H) was dull and muddled. Its only now that we realized that our sound before was lacking the energy.
The OT15 are loud!!!!!Clear!!!!!.All the missing notes before are now apparent and noticeable. You can hear every instrument with fidelity, not to mention our sound guy has a comment that the response was flat,He just sits there now in front of the band the whole night without touching the console's kobs.
Thanks BILL!!!!
Pics coming....

I love u Zeriel
I have 8 of those old Keeles. They were really meant to be used in groups of 4 or more. With all 8 running the bass was never lacking and always had punch. They are very heavy however!
That was my biggest reason for replacing them.
So heavy in fact that sometimes if we thought we could get away with 2 thats all we used. That's doable with the Keele as it's low end is bass reflex. Currently I'm using up to 8 T24s for inside rigs and they work fine. I have 4 T39s just about complete with the diffinimaxs in them and should be using them come June on outside jobs.Bills horns are a different flavor than the old Keales. Keeles are pounders but not very clean. Bills boxes give a a base sound that's far more musical and still maintain some punch.
