Drill Bit Size for 1/4-20 Hurricane Nuts?
I've been using a 1/4" drill bit to drill the holes for 10-32 hurricane nuts. That was my biggest drill bit, so I'm going to need another one for the 1/4-20 hurricane nuts. What size drill bit should I be looking at for those holes?

You want the next increment larger than the nut size. In this case, the nut si 1/4", so 5/16 will work, but 9/32 would be better. So, if you have to go buy a single bit for the purpose...I'd get 9/32 if that's an option, or 5/16 if you can't get the other.
The h-nuts will fit into either hole...the 9/32 provides a slightly snugger fit.
