Brad nailer/compressor @Lowes

#1 Post by Brew »

Hey folks,
Just picked up a combo comp and nailer gun at Lowes for $50. Haven't used yet, but its small and lightweight. Coleman Powermate brand.
Pushes 18ga 1" brads/staples. Don't know of suitability for painting.,but will be useful for small tasks and at the price....
Anybody heard comments from users or used themselves?

I prefer my 1/4 inch stapler to my brad nailer with 1/2' plywood.

Either one will speed assembly of the speaker cabinet.

Long, thin brads bend and twist with grain and plywod layers, and you can have blowouts that send brads bouncing off the walls. Plan for that and enjoy!
