Adjustable top hat mounts for DR cabs

#1 Post by DAVID_L_PERRY »

Just found these:-
Adjustable angle pole mount 40kg load

Saves on struggling mounting a standard pole mount at 4 deg on the DR cabs, and also helps you point cabs down further if you want (which can be a bonus)

I'd seen those, but worried about when they wear a bit. I've got a set of spring-loaded handles on my wedgehorns and after a few months of use the spring has gone out in two of them. The last thing I'd want is for my speakers to decide to tip forward and tumble off the pole. Anyone actually inspected the function and build quality of these?

Probably, but it would be bigger, made of titanium, and probably end up fitted in the wrong cab due to the other cab not having the latest field identification system running.... ...oh and you guys will swear blind it was your invention.. :D

No, but Adam Hall stuff is usually 'not too bad' if that helps?

We downsized our UJ and then added a couple of stars ( Southern Cross representation to be precise ) BUT in anticipation of the socialist female regime we now have in charge of what once was a lovely place - we painted the inside of those stars red.

...end of rant....
