It's been mentioned before on this forum, but a very useful tool for testing systems is the Bink Audio Test CD. This is free to download. I keep a copy on CD as well as in my iPod.

In particular the low frequency test tones and "warbles" (center tone +-40Hz sweep) are excellent for testing subs and crossover settings. The 80Hz warble is what I put on when I first fire up Titan48's to confirm all is OK. The warble sweep also allows me to hear the crossover transition to my top cabs (I cross usually at 100Hz with the T48)

Excellent Test Tools
EQ guys are using on their cabs/systems. A good starting place if you don't have your own RTA.
