PA2 Settings memory

#1 Post by Keryn O'Shea »

Evening legends,
Is it normal for a Driverack PA2 to lose the AutoEQ and crossover filter slope settings when it's been turned off & unplugged?

No, that is not normal. My driveracks have been turned off and unplugged hundreds of times and have never lost settings.

Are you sure that you are on the correct scene?

I checked back on phone screenshots of AutoEQ results in 3 cab presets, and yes l was on the right numbers. The GEQ settings were still there, but the aforementioned settings weren't. You don’t need to save anything on the PA2 do you? There was no mention of that in the manual.
I turned the PA2 on to transfer the AutoEQ PEQ settings into a DCX2496 to use with a smaller amp setup yesterday and noticed these settings were lost. I'll run the wizards on a cab today, unplug it and check again tomorrow.
Thanks Bruce, it's great you found the problem with your OT12 also.

Clearly stated in the manual!
