Does anyone have knowledge or access to a SPL chart for an OT15 with the KL3015 installed in it? I can’t find one, and trying to make a decision between the OT12 with the 3012HO and the OT15 with the 3015, looking for a nice solid 100hz XO to these with as much sensitivity at 100-200hz as possible to maximize the overall +/-3db output sensitivity (1w/1m). The additional size of the 15 vs 12 has no impact for my intended use, however smaller is always better for overall output per given vertical space available.
Thx

Not sure what you are using it for, but the OT12 can do everything you need above 100hz.
For what it's worth, 100-200hz is the place I most frequently have to cut on inside venues to correct for the room.

Gents thank you. Seth thanks for the curves and Bruce I didn’t account for room dynamics and gains, these will be in and outdoor use.
The 12s it is. Timeless and Priceless. They really are.

Re: OT15 w/3015 SPL Chart
Always EQ the system before trying to EQ the source.
Was mixing last weekend at a festival. Fast turnaround - pretty much a throw and go. The band I've been mixing for 10 years - got a quick line check and away we go on a small line array system provided by a big PA company.
Got the mix decent pretty quickly, but it wasn't right. Checked the main EQ on the board....dead flat. The provider hadn't done any EQ correction on the system at all. I dumped 4-5db centered at 150hz with a fairly wide Q and the bottom end cleaned up a bunch. Since it wasn't my system, I told the FOH guy what I'd done (didn't want to change his board without him knowing)....he said that it sounded a lot better. I wanted to say, why didn't you do this? He's gonna' be there for 3 days mixing one band after another and didn't even ring out his system.

Reminds me of a quote I read somewhere...Bruce Weldy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 3:02 pm ...he said that it sounded a lot better. I wanted to say, why didn't you do this? He's gonna' be there for 3 days mixing one band after another and didn't even ring out his system.
