I got sucked into the klipsch rp600m frenzy and i like them ok as HT/stereo with my autotuba. Good efficiency & dynamics. To take it up a notch would you recommend the SLA pro 2 mid, the SLA 4 mid or SLA 6 mid? Or maybe something else?
Thx

Seems like an rp600 x 2. Twice the drivers. Not the best choice i gather?

For home theater, SLA and TLAH would be the better choice. Unless, you need it really loud. And I doubt that, with just an Autotuba for the sub.Mikesummers wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 3:55 pm Seems like an rp600 x 2. Twice the drivers. Not the best choice i gather?

So the sla pro with 2 mids would be louder than the sla with 6?

Re: Best rp600m replacement?
It's not so much about louder as it is sound quality. SLA Pro isn't hi-fi, it's not supposed to be. It's a lot better than the average woofer/horn plastic PA cab, but it's not what I'd want for home theater.

Great, thanks Bill. Do i need to upgrade my beloved autotuba to keep up with the SLA?

It will keep up, the only reason to change is if you want to go lower for HT low frequency effects.
