Crossover in an Omni 10.5 (crossfire)

I am the owner of an Omni 10.5 (crossfire) that someone else assembled. Sorry if this is off limits, but I'm looking for some advice. The large resistor which connects to the tweeters broke (at the legs), I guess due to vibration as it wasn't glued down or anything.

My question is - is there anything else missing? I don't have the plans as I'm not the original builder. If I need to buy the plan or contribute in some way, that's fine, just let me know.
My amp went into protection mode during a gig on Saturday night (last song, thankfully, and was able to struggle on with whatever was coming out of the PA) - if the resistor let go while the amp was on, could this annoy an amp into protecting itself?
I've ordered a replacement based upon the markings on the broken one (3.9 ohm, 20W, 5% tolerance).
Hope you can help.
