Straightening warped panel

#1 Post by Mark Coward »

A tip that I picked up this weekend working with my carpenter friend.....when applying the last side on a titan, the cabinet's bottom had an inward warp. After lining up both corners and putting screws there, he put a screw driven 1/2 way in about 2" from the edge of the bottom panel. Then used a hammer to pull the panel out straight prying against the side panel, drilled & screwed it down....we had 4 hands lol, but I think I could've done with two. An outward warp can be clamped, it's more difficult with an inward warp.
