Looks like you made a little custom modification. Did you shrink the 45" dimension down an inch or two? Are you just making room for an inset grill frame?

Really awesome to work with Robert Renick on this (photo left). He is a master cabinet builder with decades of experience. From his guitar building experience, he came up with the idea of using go-bars to press the panels down for glue-up, which meant we could do a full glue up in a couple of hours rather than several days.
The pics don't show it very well, but the tolerances and workmanship on these Tubas are really A+

Yes, the back of my compact suv is just 43.5 inches wide, so we did slim them down to 43". We did the modification at the mouth to accommodate.

Had to look up go-bars. Never heard of them. Pretty cool, looks like you used giant ones all the way to the ceiling. Found this link with some good info for the unfamiliar:

I just use a mad assortment of 10-15 pound dumbells and bar plates...

As far as the adhesive goes, are you using PL premium?
Unfortunately, your location isn't listed, where are you?
As long as the adhesive is an expanding polyurethane type it will be ok, but don't be in a rush to take you clamps off.
The longer the items are clamped, the more the adhesive penetrates the nearby materials, leading to stronger joints.
Most of these types gain the majority of their strength in the first 24 hours, but take up to 7 days to cure...

That's pretty cool. You'd need a really big cube to fit a max sized T48 in, though.
Gym weight are a hot commodity right now. You could sell them, build some "go bars", then used all the leftover money for new drivers!

Hello Seth, this is Rob. There is a little over an hour and a mountain pass between Ashland and Mount Shasta. Between foul-weather and the shop production schedule, we will be closing these up this weekend. Bold move, but there will be no access port.

Oooo, are you sure? I've gone back into my T30s and had to snug the screws holding the driver. Not much, but then again, I don't have massive hours on them either. Also, I seem to recall some concern with curing PL offgassing and causing deterioration on the drivers. Maybe someone else has more info or personal experience with that, but I'd check before sealing the whole thing up. Good luck, can't wait to hear your review of how they sound when complete.
