I am assuming a dual Lab 12 would be an option in a THTLP. What would be the minimum width?

Only a 15 or single 12 is listed in the plans....no dual 12. I suppose you could do it, but you'd probably want to go out to 30 inches......best see if Bill chimes in on this.

You can't smooth room modes with two twelves when they're both in the same enclosure.

I should of clarified my goal earlier.

I have space for two 24” and larger thtlp’s and have quite a few lab 12’s not being used. Instead of buying two 15” Daytons, I figured I could easily load the LP version with the lab 12’s that aren’t being used.

A 2x12 would have to be twice the panel width of a 1x12.
