table tuba driver size

Looking at the Dayton drivers for the TT, the 10" is almost 50% more than the 8". How much of a performance gain does one get with the larger driver? I'm thinking to build two for my home theatre, and from what I've read, seems even 10W is enough to shake the house with the 8s. So that's how I'm leaning, but wanted some confirmation (or otherwise) that I'm not making a mistake. BTW, system gets used for both music and movies, but really never at brain melting volumes. These will replace an old 15" DBX sub.
thanks!!

There is no performance gain other than potentially higher output due to more Vd. I first tested mine with a ten, then put in an eight, and never bothered to put the ten back in.

Too much is the perfect amount... if you ask me 👍
