T/S specs of LS1004 woofer

#1 Post by Tom Smit »

Does anyone know what the T/S specs might be of a woofer in a Yorkville LS1004?

If you have the speaker - look for a sticker on the side of the magnet. If it's Eminence, the numbers there may make it possible to cross reference. If it's not.....I have no idea. I don't know what drivers they use.

But, since they are from Canada, maybe they use Eh?...minence.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210

Tom,
The driver is noted in the parts list as:
Part number/ YS#
7458. Description "18" 4R 800WPGM".
I have had cause to contact Yorkville Canada a number of times over the years, and they have always been great.
Get any numbers you can find and flip em an e-mail....
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

It's probably Eminence. The 800WPGM may indicate 800 watts program, so it could be an Omega Pro, Definemax or Kappa Pro 18LF. Or it could be OEM built on one of those frames.

Yorkie use to use rcf drivers in some of their subs, then switched to b&c around the time the ls800 went to the ls808. i assume the ls1004 is also a rcf or b & c product .
the ls1208 uses a b&c woofer as well

Turned out to be an RCF. The owner found a model number on a driver.

Thanks all.
