"V-Plating" with one Tuba/Titan

#1 Post by AcousticScience »

A simple flat pack way to improve the low frequency sensitivity of your horn subwoofer that takes up little room in the truck. Then use the corner/wall rules in the subwoofer placement. A Tuba might roll backwards but you could always use the wall and you only need the top triangle.

This is a variation to something similar that's already in the sub placement sticky.

Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Similar but not identical to the ground angling technique. I've never seen someone use the ground angle technique outdoors. It looks like it would get comments like "man your subs have had way too much to drink!" which is useful because the ground angle technique also removes beer from a folded horn. :fruit:
