Amp is QSC GX7,2 T48's on each channel for a 4 ohm load.I recently did a rental and after getting everything up and running i noticed my bass was low and 1 channel on my amp was clipping which has become a signal to me that something is wrong with 1 of my woofers. If i unplug the problem speaker the bass becomes louder on that channel, connecting the speaker back is like reversing the polarity on one and seems to cancel out the other. As of right now my plan is to send it out to be reconed.Touching on various parts of it makes it louder.I have had problems with the leads going to the speaker jacks on this woofer and i soldered it back.

Vid is working.

Wow, that's weird... that it gets louder regardless of where you touch. Does the problem follow the driver, and not bound to one channel? I''m pretty sure that you indicated that but I'm simply looking for clarity. :)

That's strange, it looks more like an amp fault than a driver fault.

I agree it looks like an amp or wiring issue

At least check the speaker with an ohm meter between terminals and from each terminal to the basket, then also test the wiring and connectors.

I did check the amp channels at the event, switched the speaker wires, other set of T48's worked fine on that same channel. In the demonstration video i posted the driver was connected to a computer speaker system while a 60 hz signal was playing thru Audacity. This the driver i had a problem with before because of a broken tinsel lead wire.I think i will just have it reconed, aside from this driver i have 3 blown 3015lf's and i built 4 more T48's last summer that i never put drivers in and i plan to use all 8 of them for an event coming in August so i guess the time is now. Thanks for the input.
