and thanks for this really great, informative and friendly forum. I have been following this forum for quite a while, but never posted anything so now I figured it was about time to introduce myself!!
I first joined here because I picked up bass playing/joined a band a couple of years ago after a looong break (more than 10 years). Soon to find out that my old bass combo was neither pleasing to my ears or my back...
After some testing and searching I gave up on finding something that I really liked,so I decided on building it myself. Luckily, I stumbled upon this forum, and was soon convinced that a pair of Jack's could be exactly what I was looking for!
Ended up buying plans and built a pair of Jack 10's and have never looked back
I have been really happy with the Jack's!!
So, a while later I bought the complete set of plans, and have ever since been dreaming and planing on starting the next project, a PA for my band. My band is playing mostly pop/rock and are doing private parties and weddings. Most of the time we play for about 50-150 people in various sized venues, seldom are never large venues.
I pretty much have decided to start with 2 x T39's and 2 x OT12 (maybe 4), and hopefully I can start some building quite soon!
I will make sure to start a build thread this time!
By the way, any other Norwegian's around here??
