2 Questions About the SLA Pro

#1 Post by biodad »

I'm looking at the SPL charts for the SLA Pro and the first chart shows a different response than the second and third chart.

Question #1 - Are they the same SLA Pro's or why the difference? The first chart is compared to an O Top 12 and has some bumps to be smoothed, the second chart is compared to the Peavey VersArray and is almost flat.

Secondly, what is the side to side dispersion of the SLA Pro's 1016 tweeters compared to a melded array? I love the melded array and want similar response.

Off topic comment- this week I used one T39 in the 16 inch version with the premium neo 12 (Delta Lite ll 2512 ?) against a wall and could not believe one did the job. 2 stacked on top of each other against a wall could possibly produce rock band kick drum volume. At least for the average VFW or smaller club. Best small sub ever. I have never needed all 4.

The charts looks the same to me. The first one you have to look at the blue line and the next 2 the black lines. It is a little confusing on the eyes.
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

Yup, you are correct. As a child, my mom said I could go blind if I didn't quit . . .
How about the side to side dispersion of the 1016 tweets?
Thank you.

I asked about the horizontal dispersion before. If I remember correctly, I was told 90 degrees.
