There was a time when I was here a lot... I finished my last BFM design cab in 2007. Hard to believe how long ago that was! The last build was a DR250. Before that I built a T-39, and my first build was an Omni 10.
All great cabs. I built them for bass guitar, but confess that I have only actually used the T39 once. That was an outdoor gig. Mostly I just take the DR250. It's light and loud enough for pretty much anywhere I go.
About a year ago I replaced my old G&K amp with a Carvin BX500. It weighs under 6 lbs, and I am determined to pair it with as light a cab as I can. So, I've come back to build a Jack 10L. Should be a nice outing for my new Craftsman C3 brad nailer.
Will no doubt spend the next few months thinking about it, studying the plans and asking the occasional question while I lurk in the background.
Can't tell you how much I have appreciated all the help I got here on my previous builds.
Nice to be back.
Rich

Re: Back in Miami...
Welcome (back)! FYI, for the Jack 10 Light, I'm pretty sure you will need a narrow stapler as well as your brad nailer. Good luck on the build and post lots of pics.
