finished tuba ht

#1 Post by tomrip »

:hyper: I finished my tuba ht last night. I originally thought i would build it in a weekend. That turned into 3 weeks. An i am glad. I have a better built cabinet. i got home and first thing i tried was Jurassic park. amazing. The next scene was the pod race from episode one. I finally have theater quality(if not better than theater quality) bass in my home. My daughters then played some rap, and i played some hard rock. Everything i threw at it was amazing. what freq settings do you guys have yours on? 80? Next project thlahs and curved slah for center.

This depends on how low your current L/C/R can be crossed over to. You are best off experimenting with your current, and future, set up to give you the results you desire. 80Hz is a good starting point. Try going as low as 60Hz and as high as 120Hz to your L/C/R, and go with what sounds best to you, in your room.
