Sketchup Suggestion for New Builders

#1 Post by rbarone »

I'm a rookie, & I've been poring over the posts with interest. I have not seen this before, but my apologies if it's redundant...

I use Sketchup within my own business & whenever I have a complicated build, or a piece with a lot of interior parts, I give contrasting colors to adjoining pieces. This helps me to more easily distinguish the parts from one another, while also making it easier for me to visualize the assembly.

Hope this helps -

Sketchup is widely used here, one of the reasons being that Bill's plans come with Sketchup which one needs to refer to from time to time.

I agree, it's an awesome programme for free!
