Using compatible can spray primer?

Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

Using compatible can spray primer?

#1 Post by djlivex »

Can someone suggest a gray spray can primer to be compatible with Duratex and PL glue which I tried to get as much off the Tuba but still has some on BB? I only have 1/3 can of Duratex and my other Tuba 24 needs another light coat of Duratex with color purple mixed in. Should be flat so as to more adhesion, correct? Thanks! :?

I use rust oleum quick dry. It the cheaper version of their sprays. Says 2x on the label, which iirc is gray. Just about any spray primer will work.
If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.
