I just provided/ran sound for a great band, Tapwater (http://www.tapwatermusic.com) for three days on three different islands. One of the guys in the band runs a pro sound company and their sound tech is a full time audio engineer. All the musicians are pros. Super easy to work with and very good at what they do. Yesterday, I ran a music festival with a broad spectrum of musicians. The music festival people had some GIANT 80s 4 way speaker with 2x15, 2x8, mid horn and high horn that they insisted using for tops

The rig:
2x DR250, deltalite 2510, melded array
2x T39 20" wide, 3012lf loaded.
Mish mash of monitors from mackie to radian
Peavey IPR amps
Soundcraft Si Expression 24 channel board. (CHECK THESE OUT!)
We did out doors, a big hall with a proper stage, and in a bar with barely enough room on the stage for the band.
In all cases the band and crowd were blown away by the sound. Super clear, thumpin, killer sound. I have a DSP for crossover and EQ at the amps and the Graphic and parametric eq in the board makes tweaks for the room easy. I had the sound company guy ask if there were one or two 18's in the T39's

There have been a bunch or people that appreciated my system and a bunch of naysayers that hear with their eyes that thought I should have bought JBL etc, but these guys were professionals and got to really hang out and use my system for a few days and they were very impressed. Also said it was the best stage sound they had ever had. nice to hear.
At the festival the T39s kept up with the huge peaveys nicely, though they seemed to be pretty efficient. I had to laugh at packing these 170lb monsters around on the stage with two people for mid/highs and then packing my 70lb subwoofers around by myself. Made an impressive stack on either side of the stage though (really wide stage used for theater).

Between the new digital board and BFM speakers it is easy to make awesome music.
