weaponized subwoofer array

#1 Post by Groovehaven »

Hi everybody,

I was recently at a local music fest. I ordered biscuits and sausage gravy from a vendor there, and perhaps got the insanity gravy instead.

So anyway, the phrase "War Volume" got me thinking. Got troublesome tenants that are resisting eviction?

what would it be like if you made a horn loaded sub (say a titan 20 foot) out of a standard intermodal 20' shipping container. (20' x 8' x8')

obvisouly ignoring the build price and maybe lack of suitable drivers

what might it do in theory?

just a goof

Peace!

I guess maybe it's not a horn, but it is in a shipping container. My clients would not want me showing up at the wedding reception with one of these. Might not fit the decor.

In terms of using sound as a weapon, this page may be of interest:

I believe there was talk of pointing it at mountains to start mini avalanches before they get huge. Quite if it'll actually get a use as such though is another matter entirely.
