white birch

Hello. I want to build a tht lp. I can only get Baltic Birch in 5x5 sheets. I can get white Birch in 4x8 sheets. Will this be Ok to use?

I think the white Birch is 12 ply.

That's good, but it needs to be equal plies. No thin veneer - it does make a difference.
