Eminence alpha 6a now has a bigger brother!

#1 Post by CoronaOperator »

The Eminence Beta 6a!

Specs

Specs look almost identical to the alpha 6a with 40% more Vd, 75% higher power handling, a touch more sensitivity ;albiet more weight and ever so slightly higher fs.

Useful in the sla pro?
Built:
17" width 10" driver Autotuba
2 x 29" width dual Lab12 Tuba60
6 x DR250 2510/asd1001
In progress:
2 x DR250 2510/asd1001
For best results, point the loud end of the array towards the audience

That is really expensive, but the specs seem to line up, although fs is a little high.

There has been another thread about the Beta 6, with some comments by Bill.

 Don't know how I missed that thread, I just got excited when I seen them at parts-express.

In my car the alpha 6c's run out of x-max way too soon run infinite baffle in the car doors. These beta 6's look much better. Too bad the fs wasn't 40hz lower, I'd give up sensitivity to get them to run to 80hz free air.

Did you look at the Eminator line? Specifically for car stereo.
If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.
