Dr250 T48 and W8

#1 Post by sandwichman »

:hyper:
Finally got a chance to get the PA out and flex its muscles!
2- Dr250
2- T48 @ 24" (lab12)
4- W8
The dr and t48 are powered by an XTI2002 and the W8 by a Behringer Epq304.

The band was called Doonbali, they play various hand drums and other world percussion. It was interesting the melodies that they were able to make!

The system was LOUD and extremely clear. The the wedges had more than enough volume for them to hear each other. They kept telling me how excited they were to finally be able to hear themselves. They also mentioned that it was the best show they had played, due to the quality of the sound!

I had such a great time! :hyper:

Thanks guys! I should add that the DR's have dual asd1001 in them. No real reason, flipped a coin and thats what the decision was.

You should get some pictures and a full review of the DR's as the ASDs are nowhere near as common as the piezos.

I like to see setups with lots of monitors. Nice rig.

I'll get some pics of the DRs. I wish I had a full melded array to compare them to, I only have the ones in the W8.
