Are we shop geeks or what. I just watched 7 minutes of a guy building jigs and running a router. :slap:

Yeah.....and I thought he was going to make a continuous chain out of a single board. Now that would have been worth the 7 minutes.

Actually it was just as much the entertainment value as well as the handy little tricks building the jigs that made me think it was worthwhile posting.

I have an uncle in Canada who did just that. After some pre machining the actual splitting and finishing of the chains is mostly manual work. A lot of it.


Some cool routering jigs & tricks there Harley. Funny to see how some very simple jigs allow for special shapes to be routered easily.

I had a couple of ah-ha! moments watching this video. I'm such a hack... but I'm learning!

(I also liked one of the comments "this did not work on my Netgear router")
