SUB HARMONIC ROOM ENTIRE ROOMS FLOOR IS A DResque HORN

#1 Post by CINCYSTAR »

Ran into this searching horns. The site is in Italian so not completely sure what the specs or overall purpose(besides being completely remarkable) is.

Glad to see that you're researching!
We got to see this info/site a few years ago.

I doubt you've ever wondered where the words Sinister and Dexterous come from, but the answer is in the bottom of that image.

And posteriore describes the hoser who constructed that lunacy. :noob:
Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should.

Note the rest of the page... I popped this in another thread a while back:

That's pretty insane in itself but look at the masses of other shit he's got in that room, the amount of cones in there would put your local roadworkers depot to shame. The best bit about this room though is the following which caught my eye:
The Royal Device Audio Room features 3 sub-atomic particle accelerators on SPDIF data transmission
Sub atomic particle accelerators? Weren't those the things the Ghostbusters carried about on their backs? I mean he's cleary having a little joke here, right? Even audiophiles have a sense of humour don't they?

Oh.

Wait.

IT'S A FUCKING TIME MACHINE! :loler:

Some dude made a 'time machine' which goes back and corrects the mistakes made in the studio at the time of the recording and sold it to this fruitcake, probably for many tens of thousands of pounds/dollars/goats. I am in the wrong business and you probably are too... We need to get in on this freakshow and make us some easy cash. Get back at me with your proposals.

Love it...could be very interesting in a club/venue install if being built new, could be an exceptional marketing tool if indeed works well. We have a venue here called the "Crystal Ballroom" http://www.mcmenamins.com/126-crystal-ballroom-history It has a floating dance floor(which when enough people begin to get down whoeverer else is on the floor has no option but to move to the music because the floor is now dancing) quite a feeling when 300 plus people get to moving to the music in unison. When/if I build my dream home I definitely install something similar to both rooms...

You may require the T-800 model to do that, made by Skynet.

Now then Leland,
You'd have to agree, either the robot or the truck would, most likely, leave you in the same state if it hit you, all errr messed up...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

The truck would work better, more often than not Terminators tend to just throw people about rather than crushing skulls etc. Seems they're far more efficient at killing the people AROUND the target than the actual target.

I love terminators but even I have to admit they really don't live up to their name.

As much as I would love to argue this point, I must admit that Summer Glau was more lethal as a post-lobotomy teenage chick in outer space.
