Since mounting the drivers can be somewhat challenging......

Helpful hints on how to build 'em, and where to get the stuff you need.

Since mounting the drivers can be somewhat challenging......

I've started mounting my drivers before the cabinet is done... when access is still pretty easy........ I cover them with newsprint, or saran wrap just in case some glue would drip on them. I find this SOOOOO much easier. After the last time I went to mount a driver in a Tuba and heard the hex nut fall inside the unit, that was enough for me. I find this technique really good in DR's and WH's more than in Tuba... it's just a hell of a lot easier to have the driver on there already.... than stressing to get it up there later.

Never been a problem for me?

Hurricane nuts are installed before that plate is glued in. mounting the speaker with SHCS's and the proper tools is easy.
