So I was in Lowe's today and saw they had marked down the Bosch 12 sliding compound miter saw from $599 to $359. I was VERY tempted and talked to the Commercial Sale rep. She agreed that the stand should be included with the sale, so I bought the $599 saw and the $299 stand for $359 - my 5% discount = $341. Score!!!!!! I am one happy dude



I had to link to the Home Depot pic since I can't find the saw on Lowe's site. They must not be stocking it any more.

Now I suppose I need to get rid of my Dewalt miter saw. Or my Makita.

Well what kind of miter saw ARE you looking for?? I can't think of many better than this. I would have killed to have this when I built my curved sla!

I wish I could tell a salesman "this goes with that so it should be free" and he would hand it over. I'd be a real Jedi thief.

That's a great price. Less than I paid for mine when it was on special to dealers. It's an older model though. Great saw. If you do any crown molding there's a sticker on them that if you follow it for the cuts it will fit perfectly every time.

Also does a really good job on DR reflectors.
