PV2600 powering Tuba 24

#1 Post by shawno »

Newbie with a set of RCF-310As for tops and a dual loaded Tuba 24 for lows, playing prerecorded top 40/house/hip hop.

Would a Peavey PV2600 amp with the Built-in 150 Hz/18 dB/oct crossover enabled be low enough for a Tuba 24, dual loaded with BP102 drivers?

Or should I just pull the trigger on a dcx2496 and disable the PV2600 crossover?

Subs should be crossed over at 100Hz or lower.

I guess I'm shopping for a DCX2496 or something similar.
