I was wondering if I could use an output from my dcx into my amp for my tops and use a summed signal output from the dcx into the other amp input to power my sub.my reason being that I want to raise the output gain on the summed signal to get more voltage to the sub.I dont like how the system sounds using the crossover in the xls 1500.

That is exactly what the DCX2496 is used for.

That is what it's for...and phatman is dead right..

Q, how come you're building t39 and not slim T48?

That's how I did it....input to Input A,... summed out to, I choose, Output 5, .....tops are on Output 1.

Ok,thanks fella's.I tried using the crossover in the XLS 1500 but i could only get about 22 volts to the T 39.Gregory i built the T 39 to use in low volume situations and small rooms,a comedy show i do once a month in particular.A T39 is short enough to fit in my 2011 Jeep Liberty replacing a EV S-181 sub i was using for the event.I built both cabs but only bought 1 driver. My next build is 2 new T-48's as well as rebuilding the 2 i already have.
