I finished 1 T-39,still need to sand, prime and paint the other one.I ran 25 volts into it and it sounded alright.......until i properly loaded it against a wall,a whole different beast. All parts from speaker hardware and of course Lelands service was excellent,i love ordering from him !!!
@Leland,will the Bill Fitzmaurice and Speakerhardware decals you sent me adhere to duratex with 2 part epoxy ?

Re: T 39 3012 LF Loaded.
Sorry for not documenting step by step,i was trying to get finished with this project,i have had my fill of BFM for about 30 days. Before i built the T-39's,my wife had asked me if i could finish the SLA's before the superbowl,i was like maybe.but i had a sh@t eating grin on my face as i left her presence so i did get the center channel and the Table Tuba (17" wide,Dayton 10" woofer loaded). The T 39's are 20" wide.I think after i buy the other 3012 LF i'm gonna "need" some DR 200's for them
I did the whole build without wasting any wood. What helped me was i drew dotted lines along the width of all of my panels to remind me which side not to cut, worked out perfect.Scary moment,as i was bolting the driver in,i didnt drill the holes off axis so the uppermost and lowermost driver bolts were "hidden" but i was able to get to them,i think if i had to use 1 3/4 bolts i would have been in trouble.

Wasn't that front loading design for the Lab12 only? I don't have the plans handy, so can't check.

They should... but I would take a flat screwdriver and put a few scratches/gouges on the backside of the aluminum badge to give the epoxy something to grab.djtrumptight wrote: will the Bill Fitzmaurice and Speakerhardware decals you sent me adhere to duratex with 2 part epoxy ?

The bond will only be as strong as the duratex bond to the wood otherwise.
