Hello from SE Kansas
Hi, everybody! I'm Kyle from Coffeyville, Kansas. I was clicking my way through the vastness of the Internet a while back and somehow I came to Bill's Plans. I run sound at a local church and have always been interested in sound equipment. I was amazed the reviews and projects in the forums. So for the past few months I have been reading and lurking about. My brother plays bass guitar at basketball games and last year only used junk the school had laying around for forever that sounded horrible because he only has a small practice amp which works ok for practice and church. So we decided to try and build him a Jack 15. We thought that it would do the job well enough (read: be way louder than needed) while not being too expensive or hard to build. So we get the plans. (Really wish I had the $ to get the whole CD at the moment!) Then, last weekend, I finely order the drivers, etc from Lealand figuring I has a week or so to get the wood. Then, on Monday just out of curiosity I track where the stuff is and I find out it's in Independence! So I get to looking and Lealand is in Parsons! I should have just drove there to avoid shipping! Anyway I'm sure Lealand knows but does anyone know a good place to get some plywood around here? The components are going to get here tomorrow and I know that I will want to get started asap! Thanks, and sorry for being long winded and rambling.

Hey Kyle!
I sent you an email about shipping when I saw a test order on the site. Never heard back, so I assumed you wanted me to ship it when you finalized it.
The shipping was only like $10, not hardly worth the drive, except for a meet and greet, which I'd like to do. We're few and far between in these parts. I only know of about 4 or 5 cabs in KS. 1 set in Wichita, the rest in the KC area.
TH Rogers here in town has 1/2 bb for about $30. Try the yard on the south end of town in Cville. I don't remember the name off the top of my head.

It's a good thing you figured that out, because I drove from Parsons through Coffeyville and picked up a coffee (ironic) at McDs there.KStrange78 wrote:Then, last weekend, I finely order the drivers, etc from Lealand figuring I has a week or so to get the wood. Welcome to the forum!
Your brother is going to overwhelm the locations now with that J15.

Man Tom, I still feel badly about when you came through. I had my annual migraine that day, and the only fix is go to bed. Once a year, and of course you were here for it.

It's alright, I got over it.
Besides, that's life. Actually, I'm quite thankful for the time that we did get to share, and for the speaker cabs you showed me.
