2 jack 12 and a single T39.

#1 Post by Frederic Gelinas »

One of my client's setup. The single T39 overloads the camera mic on every bass drum hit.

I have never heard the bottom end that solid on that song. Sounds great in spite of the mic distorting.

I did try to sell a T39 pair, but after hearing only one, the deal was done: it was beating every dual 18" they ever heard.

Can't wait till i'm back in town so I can try Mississippi Queen on my system. That bass sounds gnarly.

That's because there was no bottom end in the 70s. :)

That is probably a re-mastered version. The biggest bottom end on that song originally was Leslie West's butt.....and it was sizable.

I was going to mention that, but I figured nobody knew who he was anyway......Dan, you're showing your age.

Oh my gosh, you were listening to your dad's music growing up!

Good for you.

I didn't hear much rock music growing up. My family is Puerto Rican from New York so I just mostly heard latin jazz, salsa, soul, and disco. My brother was/is big into old school hip hop which I also dig, but I developed my love for rock by listening to alt rock stations around 97/98.
