SLA Pro Piezo High-Pass Filter

#1 Post by BoostFab »

I'm piecing together a HP filter for the SLA Pro, and I'm scratching my head at the 30 ohm resistor.
Is this the correct one?

30 ohm 10W

That one's fine. What were you confused about? If you're uncomfortable choosing the correct inductor, resistors, and capacitor for this filter you could just order this: http://www.speakerhardware.com/35k_piez ... kPiezo.php . Leland's done all the selecting for you in that kit... and it's always good to support a fellow forum member.

+1. Why are you dicking around when Leland's already done the legwork for you? :noob:

I'm buying some other stuff (non speaker related) on PE so might as well throw in these little items in the order to complete the $98 free shipping.

At least you get $30 of extra things you can use, so it's not a complete loss.

I just can never remember what extra stuff there might be that I actually can use. Until after it's shipped, that is. :wall:
