#1 Post by katu_lp »

Hi,
i'm about to put the insulation in the cabinet interior. i have some matress foam remains that i can use, but they are 2 inch thick....is it too thick, or it will do just fine?

What cab are you thinking about putting insulation in?

The instructions should say exactly what kind of insulation to put in.

2 inch is OK so long as it's not a memory foam. Memory foam has higher density and should not be used more than 1 inch thick.

htanks bill! no, it's not memory foam...
since we are on the subject, do I have to put insulation in the baffle (except were the speakers are mounted, of course)? i'm building the 2x10 version, so there isn't much space either...
