Hello from West Virginia, USA

#1 Post by KevinR »

Hello everyone.

I have been browsing the forum for about a week now and decided to sign up and build some speakers. I have been playing in small club bands for years but recently left the band I was in to take a break. In the mean time I and going to build some new speakers. I have decided on the Titan 39's and DR200's. It looks like the DR200's will be tough but I think I can handle it :? (I hope so anyway!) I plan to start a thread when I am ready to start building to post my progress and maybe ask a question or two also. :P

The T39 and DR200 are a good choice but if you have the space, I would go for a DR250.

I have questions regarding the comparison between the DR200 and DR250 but I will post a message in the DR forum instead of here..

I haven't bought my plans YET.. I don't want to second guess myself after I have already purchased them..

I'd recommend getting the CD with all the plans. It's worth the money and you will more then likely get hooked like we are on building. Why waste time and second guess yourself?
Once you go Jack, you never go back!

Done:
(2) Jack 12, 3012ho, Straight Array with On/Off Switch
In Process
(4) Dr200 Beta 8, Melded Array
