Hi again from Argentina

I m the happy owner of 2 x J112 and they ve been sounding great since I built them a year ago.

Now I have on hand 2 x Faital 15" FH500 woofers, for wich I built 2 x ported cabinets using WinISD Pro. (about 100 liters and tuned to 45 Hz). Faital speakers give good results on WinISD compared to other similar brands like B&C

I m concerned about this woofer s low Qts value of about 0,31.... Does anyone know if this Qts figure can alter low frequency reproduction in a bad way?

Sonically, I noticed that this reflex Faital loaded cabinet has an excelent transient response with an extended low fq response; but the low end is not as "warm" as with the Deltalite loaded Jacks.
Is that warmth that I feel with the Deltalites some kind of desireble transient distorsion?

Any opinion about Qts values? Should I consider using a woofer more like in the 0,4 Qts range to get a "softer" "warmer" sound?

0.31 is not considered a low Qts. As for how it affects response, you already know that since you modeled in WinISD.

The Faital are not horn loaded.

I thought that if I use a higher Qts value speaker, it would sound "softer" at low frequencies (something that I can not see in WinISD)
