Would one channel of a EP2500 be able to handle 4 dr 200's with the Beta 8 8ohm?

In theory yes, but I don't like running at minimum loads. I'd rather use 16 ohm Delta Pros.

OK thanks Bill.
I could probably run 2 on each channel with no reason for worries?

If you ran the 16ohm version you could run 4.

Yes, with 8 Ohm drivers, 2 on a channel presents a 4 Ohm load.

I too am looking to drive four DR250's. A quad of them with the 2510 driver has an RMS of 1000watts. Is it proper to run that much to them, and if so, how much over rated should the amp be?
I'm looking at a QSC RMX 1450 which delivers 400-450 watts per ch. at 4 Ohms. Good choice? Here is a data sheet:

Sorry for the noob question.
Scott, I hope I'm not high jacking your thread.
Thanks,

Anything more than 200 watts each with DR250s gives additional headroom but no additional output.

Thanks,
No thats fine.
I'm still learning also so there is no bad questions.
I think I might hook them up to my XLSCrown1000 and at least try them this weekend. I have never heard a DR200 so I am looking foward to listening. To bad I am behind the kit the whole night.
