I'm about 90% done with my build of 2, single driver (bp102) Tuba 24's. All I have left is running and sealing wires and installing the last side. My question is this. I'm installing double 1/4" jackplates so they can be daisychained. What is the proper way to wire the double jack? Obviously there's a difference between series and parallel wiring. My EV's have an in and an out jack, but my PR12's aren't marked, they just have 2 jacks. What if any is the difference here.

Other than I'm assuming that the speakons lock in, what other benefit is there. I ask mostly because all of my cables are 1/4"
Speakons are designed to work as loudspeaker connectors. 1/4" are designed for telephone switchbays. It's a simple matter of right tool versus wrong tool.

Plus, you don't have to worry about some yahoo trying to run the speakers with a guitar cable
Upgrade to Speakon - you won't regret it. And use the NL4 not the NL2.

Also the jacks can short out momentarily as you plug them in and out. Hence the horrible noises as guitarists plug in. Speakons don't, so you are safe unplugging them without blowing your speakers or amps.

I once forgot to strap my tops together one time and the top one walked off the front until it tipped off the front and was only held by the short speakon link lead from the cab below.
scary but true.
speakons rule and are worth significantly more than their weight in lawyers!!!!!
