Verdict of the T48

#1 Post by bigtune »

Well I took the leap and sold my two 18s Qsc to finance the T48s project. Prior to this I have never heard any of BFM subs. I read the forum and bought a few plans then decided to go with the T48. At first I was very skeptical about the way the cabs sounded until I set 'em up in the back yard; I must say these things hits heavy and sounds nice. I'll probably build two more in the summer for shits&giggles.

The guy I build with way back in High School got chance to Roadie for Kansas and set out a Semi full of EV (I think it was) cabs that looked much like the T36 (they had them in stacks at each end of the stage than alll the way across the stage) when the DID crack and damage the foundation of the Rosemont next to O'Hare.

He has always wanted to do that again (OK, No following law suit though).

After having 4 we will settle for a Bass Cave (6'+ high V-Plated stack of BFM Subs).

I've sat in a stack of 4xT30's

I've sat in a stack of 4xT36's

I regret doing both.
-AutoTuba; Tang Band 8 inch (x1)
-T39; KappliteLF, 22 wide (x2)
-More to come!

Sat in a 4 stack of T48s and for short order not that bad. After 2.5 to 3 hours however from about 5 ft Shaken Baby Syndrome had been achieved!!!!
