Looks like they are trying to compete with the Drivecore as this unit is only 15.5 pounds....whereas the 3 and 5 model are the original 24+ pounds.

Gotta' love the competition....better prices for all of us (of course, it's only good if they keep the quality up).

I am waiting for these guys, cheap and powerfull! May get the PLX02's if my builds end up after spring '11. :clap:

Bear in mind that the GX series built-in crossover is inferior to those in the Crown XTi and DriveCore amps. It's fixed at 100hz, and it's 3rd order LP, 2nd order HP.

I'll be curious to hear how they sound. I would love something a little lighter than my RMX 2450s (and more powerful too!) Seems too good to be true for the price though. Time will tell I suppose.

Any updates or field use of the GX7s ??? I was thinking of selling my 2450
if the GX is up to the task. Currently the 2450 has sub duty.
