Hey guys, I just bought a Crown XTi2000 amp to power two Otop12s with Delta Pro 12as in them and two Tuba 24s with BP102s. I want to use one channel to power the tops and the other for the low cabs.
I'm not sure where to set crossover frequencies for each channel and I need advice on the other settings for things like limiters, EQ etc.
I'm a noob, so apology in advance if I have trouble understanding things. Gotta start somewhere.

throw your limiters at -3 or -6 for the sub channel (channel 1). Lopass your subs at 100hz (you can go higher if you want, I run mine at 115). Use the 48 db LR filter. Hipass the tops at the same freq you lopassed the subs. hipass the subs wherever the plans state.

You'll really want to measure the output with a tone generator and a multimeter with those BP102s. I had to set the XTi 1000 to -6dB to ensure I wasn't crossing the 35v recommended limit. The XTi 2000 puts out quite a bit more than the 1000... my guess is you'll be setting it to -12dB unless you're willing to risk your drivers a bit.
I have my XTi 2000 set to -3dB for the 3012LF. I peaked out everything just inching into the red and the -3dB setting dipped below 60v.
Limiting the tops isn't as necessary, as you'll apparently hear the distortion before damage. Me, I've never driven my OT12s that loud. I'd rather not damage my hearing permanently to find out where distortion happens.

How will setting a -12dB limit affect the performance of the subs vs. a -6dB limit?
On the high and low shelf settings there is a gain option. should I leave this at 0dB?
What should I set the input? Stereo, Sum, or input Y? I'm using one channel for high-mid and the other for the lows so I know I want a mono signal sent to both channels.
Also, I want to try out the subharmonic synth option. Is there anything I should be careful with on the settings? I don't really understand what the number values do.
I'm a noob, Thanks
