T-24's vs. T-39's again!!!

#1 Post by DJDAVE »

Finally had a day to actually bring these out to play.
T-24's: 2 dual 22" and 2 single 16" bp102-4 loaded VS. 2 T-39 23" 3012lf loaded. Once again, as I did back last November I think, no measurement tools or scientific gear, 35 feet out, just A-Bing them by unplugging one set and plugging in the other. My crossover point for the subs and Yammies I set a little high at 125hz which seemed to sound the best to me, and the music was your typical mainstream pop and hiphop that you hear on every radio station.
So to my surprise, the T-39's just plain old smacked the T-24's around without question!!! Plenty of bottom end for DJing weddings and dances.
Keep in mind, I could have wired something wrong on the T-24's, but they sounded pretty damn good to make me think otherwise. But the T-39's were so impressive, I'm going to re-organize all my equipment in my van just so I can use these. Incredible!!!

I'm always impressed by you guys who spend the money, time and energy to put grills on your subs. I figure mine will always face the walls, so what's the point? I guess to keep critters out...
