Just thought i'd post my $.02 on regular pl premium vs advanced. Gonna keep it short and sweet.
advanced is better for filling gaps. It's a lot thicker than regular pl, and it says it takes less bracing, stonger, etc. It stays in place when pressed directly in. When its slid in, not pressed in, it will move and not stay where you might want it. It has a much higher initial stick than regular pl, which also means its harder to push out the sides and get your pieces where you want them. This will actually fill a 3/8th gap, because it has a much higher viscosity compared to regular(regular seems to run out before it gets to that distance). The consistency could be compared to...idk...soft serve ice cream...much harder to push out of the tube that's for sure.
Pl premium spreads easier for regular use, not having to fill gaps, and I'd much rather use it then advanced if i didn't have to fill a huge gap.
hope this helps anyone that is wondering what the difference may in fact be.
