Do not clip them.

even with the input at -10 db, clipping it does NASTY things to the highs.


Soon as I grabbed a few DB on the ashly eq that's inline before it, everything went great. It was bad enough before I tamed it that the QSC PL2.0 was getting into protect...

Edited for clarity.

Most of the problem might be the lack of headroom in the mixer (aem100i)

glad I had the eq on had. It's in the rack now.
